Your photographs will be evaluated by the three-member jury comprising of Čestmír Harníček, Vladimír Kampf and Juraj Ondriška. Closing date of the photo competition is 20 October 2011.
Čestmír Harníček
The excellent photographer from Trenčín, founder of the photographic group „Méta“(Aim) (1962), teacher at the local photo centre, holder of the international AFIAP award. Raised in the time of analogue photography, he has occupied himself with photographing landscape and portraits. He is a representative of artistic photography, known for his experiments with developing negatives.
Vladimír Kampf
The influential Slovak photo-reporter, holder of several photography awards, including also prestigious award „World press photo“ for the picture of a coalman in Hungarian mines and „Plexiglas prism“ which was awarded to him in April 2005 in Japan. Besides reportage and documentary photography which is a focus of his work he devotes himself to photographing nature and animals mainly around rivers.
Juraj Ondriška
The respected photographer among climbers from Trenčín. He has started with photography of fauna and flora and gradually shifted through sports photography to portrait photography. He knows perfectly all functions of a digital SLR and has experimented also with flashing lights. His work is characterized not only by a clean composition, ability to capture motion and emotion at the right time but also by playing with light and shades.
