Photography competition and exhibition of non-professional photographers
Photographs compete in three categories (Landscape / Nature, People and World around Us, Outdoor Sports). The exhibition of all received competing photographs will take place during a whole duration of the festival in Posádkový Club.
Best shots in individual categories will be selected by the expert jury which will decide also about the Grand Prix Prize and Jury Special Acknowledgement. Prize winners will be awarded directly at the festival.
Conditions and rules:
These rules determine conditions of photo-show organized by festival of adventurous movies HoryZonty.
- Everyone who fulfills the conditions stated by these rules is allowed to join the photo-show.
- One competitor has the option to register maximum of three photographs to which he/she has exclusive copyrights.
- Photographs, related to mountain environment or outdoor sports, must be personally brought or mailed together with properly filled out application to the following address: Mária Dutková, Radlinského 9, 911 05 Trenčín.
- Back side of each photograph must contain following mandatory data: author’s name, address, phone number, photograph name and category. Festival organizers do not take responsibility for potential loss of insufficiently marked photographs.
- Format of required pictures: black and white, colored and digital photography reproduced on photo-paper with the size of 20x30 cm.
- Organizers reserve the right to exclude those pictures that will not fulfill the conditions stated in these rules.
- Photographs will be judged by professional jury. Grand prix for the best photography of the festival’s photo-show will be given to one photograph selected out of all declared categories. Further in each category three other photographs will be evaluated and given material prizes. Prize handover to authors of winning photographs will be performed during the festival.
- Winning photographs selected by festival jury will be exposed in the rooms of KaMCOS SR Trenčín (place of festival performance) during festival duration, and also published at the festival’s website www.horyzonty.sk
- Organizers reserve the rights for received pictures to be used for festival purposes. After the festival is over, photographs will not be returned to the authors.
- Photo-show application closure date is 20.10.2011.
