Documentary film about the 1000 Miles Adventure race on a route 2020 miles long. Converted to kilometers, it is 3620 km with an elevation gain of 75 thousand meters. The racers in the film overcome our beautiful Czech and Slovak mountains by bike, non-stop and without security. To give you an idea: the competitors ride over 200 kilometers a day with an elevation gain of five thousand meters and sleep only 3-4 hours a day on average. In the film, we watch selected elite competitors, their suffering, euphoria, joy and pain, and also what their loved ones have to say about it all. The documentary captures in a poetic way the beautiful nature and landscape where the race leads.
