Results of the film competition
The wonderful 3-day film adventure of the 19th edition of the HoryZonty Adventure Film Festival culminated on Saturday evening with the announcement of the winners of the film competition. The international jury consisting of Joanna Kozuch, Rasťo Hatiar and Peter Kotrha awarded the following prizes:
Grand Prix
Film: KEEP IT BURNING

The film, with insight and without unnecessary pathos, faithfully portrays a strong family bond. Against the background of the impressive climbing performance of the father and his two sons, we follow not only their determination, but also the joy of the interconnected adventure.

Best outdoor film

The film captures the three-month adventure with ease and without unnecessary dramatization, but at the same time faithfully, and all this using minimal film technology.
Short film award
Film: SOUNDSCAPE

A deeper look at how it is possible to perceive mountains not only from a visual perspective, but also through other senses. An important part of the story is also the relationship between the people who accompany the blind man to the top of the mountain, which shows the power of mutual help and trust.
